In the third quarter of 2023, the Android platform in Russia witnessed notable activity in the personal finance budgeting and planning app category. Sensor Tower data reveals the performance trends of the top five apps in this space.

Money manager & expenses from Cleaner + Antivirus + VPN company saw consistent weekly downloads, starting at around 6.2K in early July and rising to approximately 10.7K by the end of September. Active users for the app also grew steadily, peaking at about 165K in late August before stabilizing around 156K by the end of the quarter.

GPB FinancialPlatform by Introtale Productions, which launched in late July, experienced a surge in weekly downloads, starting at around 20.5K and peaking at 36.3K in its second week. However, the app saw a decline to roughly 19.4K downloads by mid-August.

Piggy MoneyBox Savings Tracker from StudioCarrot demonstrated fluctuating weekly downloads. The app peaked at about 11.8K downloads in late August, followed by a dip to approximately 5.3K in mid-September, before rising again to 9.5K by the end of the quarter. Working Hours and Earnings from RavenDEV maintained a steady download trend, with figures ranging from about 4K to 5.5K throughout the quarter. The app's active users increased from around 30.2K in late June to approximately 40.8K by early September, showing a consistent upward trend.
